Rolex Daytona Ref.116520

In 2000, Rolex manufactured a new Daytona, with a fully integrated chronograph movement.

While inheriting the design of the previous model “ref.16520”, a few details has been refined; such as the subdial layout accompanying the movement change, as well as the size of the index.

The mounted movement cal.4130, due to its high transmission efficiency now boasts a 72-hour power reserve, and its magnetic resistance is improved, adopting now a paramagnetic Parachrom balance spring. Since 2007, Rolex had changed it to a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, improving its durability as well as its magnetic and impact resistance. In addition, its design taking in consideration the maintenance has been acclaimed by numerous Rolex’s engineers.

The bracelet of this Daytona being hollow in the previous model, the central link part was changed to a solid part and thus the robustness has increased.

The buckle is equipped with an easy-link mechanism, and thus can be easily adjusted to improve your comfort.

The Daytona is the flagship model of Rolex, with its constantly evolving refinement.
